Purchase some generic domain names like http://www.uk.info/ or http://www.signs.co/ or http://www.jewellery.co/ and then either buy some web hosting and load the site with Google AdSense and Amazon Affiliated Products and make some money or sell the domain name on a domain auction site and bank the profit.
Buying and selling Domain names can be very profitable for some people. I usually keep the one that I purchase and use them by forwarding the traffic to my business websites and making money by selling products.
There has been a Gold Rush going on in July 2010 to September 2010 with the .co domain names. The big one have mostly gone but there are still some good domain names to buy. One monday I managed to grab http://www.jewellery.co/ . Actually I thought I had purchased the domain, my service provider took the money but screwed up the process as they did not have the facility to buy .co domain names, it took ages to get the money back as they would have been happy to keep it.
The .co domain name cost about £28 at the moment, the price will drop at some point.
At some point I shall buiild a website for my new domain names.
